"Sugar Britches"
This is the first doll I made. It is a Modern Baby Doll

'Hugo' 21"Boy Doll

I love porcelain dolls. I learned the art of doll making through Seeley's. I think of the Seeley distributor in Pt Broughton, Cath Dunstan, as a sort of 'mentor'. Cath also a Doctor of Dollmaking.

I started out as a dressmaker at 15 years of age, and discovered my dollmaking tallents in 1992. Since then I've created, hundreds, maybe thousands of porcelain dolls and other articles.
These include jewellery, figurines, fairies and tassel dolls
.

'Oliver & Cherry Ripe'
20" Boy & 15.5" Girl Dolls

'Tanzey' (Open Eyes)
10.5" Fairy Doll

All clothes and accessories for my dolls are hand made.
Sometimes the hair is real hair, donated by recently shawn friends.

'Odel' (Sleep Eyes)
10.5" Fairy Doll

In the Ladybird studio in the back yard, I teach 10-15 students how to work with porcelain and create beautiful dolls.
But this is just my hobby. I wish I had more time to spend on it.

'May' 18" Girl Doll

"Like creating a little person each time you make a doll."
